Macroeconomic data from official statistical agencies, delivered exactly as it was published — including every revision.
Every macro release of the day, live: the figure lands as soon as the agency publishes it, read from that agency and not from an aggregator. 101 countries and 1,165 indicators, with expected value and deviation where a clean forecast exists.
The same data as JSON over HTTPS, with the two things that are hard to buy anywhere else: the publication history — each figure as it was released on the day — and forecasts with a labelled origin, never aggregator consensus.
spain_cpi.ipc.yoy,
stable and permanent. No internal codes. We read the national statistical agencies directly — INE, Destatis, INSEE, ISTAT, ONS, BLS, BEA, Census, CSO and 167 more — normalise what they publish, and keep the full publication history. You get the same figure the market saw on the day it came out, not just today’s revised number.
1,496 series carry more than 20 years of history; the longest goes back to 1854 (NBER US recession dating). Every figure on this page is read from the live database and was generated on 07 September 2026.
Eurostat and FRED republish what national agencies produce, hours or days later and sometimes rounded differently. For a single country we always go to the source: the Spanish CPI comes from INE, the German one from Destatis. Where we also carry the Eurostat version, it is published as a separate, clearly named indicator — never mixed in with the national one.
Every release is stored separately, with its publication timestamp and its type — flash estimate, preliminary or final. Backtesting a strategy against today’s revised series is a well-known way to fool yourself; this is the data that lets you avoid it. Currently 14,067 publication records.
We never serve aggregator consensus. Every forecast states where it comes from: the agency’s own flash estimate, an official nowcast (Atlanta Fed GDPNow, Cleveland Fed inflation), a central-bank survey (Focus, EEE, BanRep), a published rate path, or our own model — which reports its historical error alongside the number. 4,681 live forecasts from 14 distinct origins.
Publication dates come from each agency’s own calendar, never hardcoded, and a daily watchdog flags any indicator whose next date has drifted or gone missing. 801 releases scheduled over the next 30 days.
