What it is	Is an investigation of a statistical nature aimed at measuring the performance of retail trade in the country in the short term from the variables sales, employed persons and salaries and wages monthly supply merchants.
How it's calculated	The information in the Monthly Survey of Retail Trade and Commerce Vehicle (GMCS and Trade Vehicle) is obtained through two forms that are applied depending on economic activities undertaken by each company; consist of cabezote, chapters sales and personnel employed, wages and salaries.
Market implications	In the Monthly Survey of Retail Trade and Commerce Vehicle (GMCS and Trade Vehicles) indices for sales (total without fuel, the total without fuel or vehicles, by homogeneous groups of goods and commercial activity ISIC) are calculated, employment (total and by type of contract) and salaries and average salaries (total).
Limitations	By relying on a group surveys or sample, it is subject to estimation error.
