How it's calculatedISTAT Italian statistical office or calculates the unemployment rate in the country through a survey on the labor market more than 175000 people.
Market implicationsThis reflects the extent to which the population of a country is accessing the labor market and if you are creating or destroying jobs. It is indicative of the health of an economy. Its social repercussions it a fundamental economic problem and its solution is a priority for economic policy.
LimitationsIt is based on surveys and is therefore subject to the veracity of the same, as there may be distortions in the responses. In addition the results of the survey are published fairly after the period to which it refers.
