What it is	Gross Domestic Product (GDP) globally represents the final result of productive activity thereof, ie goods and services generated. For determination can use three different methods, although the resulting figure must be the same. These optical guide the calculation of the indicator from different points of view: that of demand, supply, or rents.
How it's calculated	Depending on the view that the variables to compute will be different, but the end result must be the same used. On the demand side, GDP includes private consumption, government spending, investment and the net balance of imports and exports. On the supply side, value added of all sectors of the economy and taxes on products are calculated. While if calculated from the point of view of income wages, gross operating surplus and production taxes will be included, minus subsidies.
Market implications	It provides regular information on how it evolves the global productive activity of the Japanese nation. This information is used by the economic authorities of the country as a policy datum face to plan and implement economic policy.
Limitations	Data on gross domestic product are published approximately two months after the end of the period to which they relate. In addition, with the publication of information relating to the corresponding quarter the previous quarter is revised, so that the first publication can not be considered definitive.
